What is physiotherapy using manual techniques?
All therapists use exercises specifically designed to treat pain and stiffness. In addition to these exercises, physiotherapists at TAGMED clinic are highly trained to use their hands to assess and treat movement restrictions in the spine, arms and legs. Using soft and practical techniques, we can help you reduce muscle stiffness, improve circulation in the joints, reduce pain and improve function.
Skills and qualities of our physiotherapists
Our physiotherapists are all members of “l’Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec”. Before entering practice, the physiotherapist must graduate with a Bac / Master’s Degree in one of 14 accredited universities in Canada. In addition to their university education, our physiotherapists also pursued extensive post-graduate internationally recognized studies focused on assessment and treatment of complex joint and muscle conditions. This training consists of many years of continuing education.
